Rebirth is a remake of The Binding of Isaac, which was developed by McMillen and Florian Himsl and released in 2011 as an Adobe Flash application. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions were released in November 2021. Rebirth was released for Linux, Microsoft Windows, OS X, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in November 2014, for Xbox One, New Nintendo 3DS and Wii U in July 2015, for iOS in January 2017 and for Nintendo Switch in March 2017. Updated Septemby Erik Petrovich: After a short wait, The Binding of Isaac: Repentance mods now work with the latest DLC. For those don't have Repentance, most mods should work completely fine. The Steam Workshop is the best place to download the best Isaac mods, but if players have the most recent DLC Repentance installed, they may need to wait for a patch or downgrade to Afterbirth to make many of these mods functional. Still, even with its multitude of items from DLC and the numerous new mechanics introduced with each major update, the game can start to feel stale after a certain point. The Binding of Isaac is one of the most infinitely replayable games ever made.
